American Housewife Season 2

The start of the comedy project "American Housewife" is scheduled for October 11, 2016, but fans of simple women's stories are already interested in whether the creators will shoot a sequel.

The ABC channel, producing the series, is awaiting its premiere and first ratings. If the film's success indicators are high enough, director Ruben Fleischer will shoot Season 2 and present it closer to the fall of 2017.

What will be shown in Season 2

The main character is Katie, an exemplary wife and homemaker, mother of three children and an incredibly confident woman. She lives in a fairly wealthy and well-appointed city of Westport, Connecticut, where every lady strives to look impeccable and behave perfectly. Katie's circle of friends consists of unemployed housewives who only manage to keep up with household chores and constantly dress up. However, the main character doesn't fit into their "perfect" collective because of her weight issues, which consistently provoke teasing. Will this be able to knock her off her usual path?

The main goal of the project is to satirize such human vices as vanity, attempts to idealize the surrounding world, and a tendency towards constant accumulation.
