The charming girl lived for a long time in the town of Zatonsk. Anna Mironova is a very lively girl who enjoys riding a bicycle and is skillful in cross-stitch embroidery. But the town's residents are cautious about Anna, because she has a rather unusual hobby. The beauty has a certain gift, with the help of which she can see spirits and ghosts, and even communicate with them. Sometimes residents come to her for help, so that the medium can have a conversation with deceased relatives during a seance. One day, there is a commotion in the town when a dead body of a lovely woman is found in the river. The police believe it's a suicide, but the detective from Petersburg, who arrives, doesn't think so, as he found a locket in the dead woman's hand, which the victim seems to have torn off the killer. A serious investigation begins, and Anna wants to help the young detective, as the spirit of the drowned woman begged for help from the medium. But there's a problem - the man doesn't believe in magic and conversations with spirits. From now on, the two young people will have to find a common approach in order to complete the investigation. Will this couple become the best detective duo, and will they encounter even more complicated cases ahead?
