In 2018, a new series called "Former" by Ivan Kitaev will premiere on the Russian TV channel Pervy. The first season of this multi-series drama with elements of a love melodrama will consist of eight episodes. The show will be filmed at the "Yellow, Black and White" film studio.

The plot revolves around two people: ambitious consultant-psychologist Ilya, who works at a rehabilitation clinic for drug addicts, and his patient Yana. Romantic feelings develop between them after they realize that they are dependent on each other. As the man begins to recover, he sees his client in a different light - a fallen girl with a complicated character gradually reveals herself to her doctor, and they fall in love. Viewers will witness the development of their relationship and learn about the chain of events that led Yana to hit rock bottom. It turns out that becoming an addict is very easy, but overcoming the addiction is almost impossible. Will Ilya be able to help his new beloved recover and overcome her severe drug addiction?
