The events of the series take place in the 17th century and then continue in the 1970s.

In a remote taiga village, several healings occur that cannot be explained from a scientific point of view. The locals are convinced that the cause of all the miracles happening in their taiga settlement lies in the presence of an ancient icon that has been here for a very long time. The ancient relic has a rich history and a multitude of unique events have taken place around it. A group of scientists from Moscow learns about this icon and wants to study it thoroughly. They rent a helicopter and go deep into the taiga to obtain unique data. They have modern equipment with them that will allow them to study the miraculous icon and its healing properties. The locals, who are far from big cities and many conveniences of civilization, meet the giant machine with a noisy propeller with a touch of mistrust, which disturbs their long-standing peace. The indigenous inhabitants of these places do not trust people who want to work here and then make it the property of the public. The self-confident employees of several major scientific centers in Moscow cannot find a common language with the eccentric locals. Soon, the situation will take a truly dangerous turn and people from big land will face real danger.
