The film company Triiks Media announced that the premiere of the 2nd season of the historical drama "Казнить нельзя помиловать" is scheduled for the first half of 2019.

The final episode of the first part will be shown on the TV channel "NTV" at the beginning of 2018. The action takes place in the post-war years. The exhausted residents of the victorious country hoped to finally live a peaceful life and forget about the recent hardships they had experienced.

What will happen in season 2

The main protagonist becomes a former spy, who dreams of peace. She tries not to remember her military past and for this purpose she comes to Leningrad. In the huge city, the girl bitterly realizes that the world is still full of evil people. Criminal gangs flourish in the town, terrorizing the peaceful population. Nina is married to a police officer. But their family happiness was disrupted by the sudden death of her spouse. A law enforcement officer killed an unknown criminal, leaving Kolosova without her beloved person. The desperate girl makes the bold decision to avenge the death of her chosen one, taking vengeance on criminals without distinction. She sincerely believes that she is doing a good deed, cleansing the city streets of bandits. However, the principled police officers think differently. An experienced investigator, Granovsky, tries to track her down, convinced that every criminal must be behind bars.

The main roles are played by: Maria Kozhevnikova, who has participated in feature films "Unlimited Sport" and "Wedding by Exchange", Dmitry Astrakhan, who has appeared in the films "Fourth Desire" and "Once", Maxim Merkulov, known for the movies "Diggers" and "The Fox's Smile", and other actors.

The premiere is planned for the end of 2017. There are 12 episodes filmed. The heroine of the story has stopped believing in justice and has become a fearless killer.
