Silicon Valley Season 5

The new, 5th season of the series "Silicon Valley" will be ready by spring 2018. Executive producer Alec Berg, who contributed to the creation of the movies "Eurotrip" and "The Dictator", made a statement about the imminent release of the continuation of the story.

The final of the fourth part will be shown in June 2017. The foreign comedy drama is being developed by the film company Altschuler Krinsky Works. The broadcast is taking place on the television channel "NVO". The plot revolves around an outstanding programmer. His latest idea is related to the development of a special service that allows easy identification of musical compositions.

He turns to various investment companies for financial support, hoping that someone will appreciate his program and provide money for further promotion. However, no organization considers his creation commercially viable, and the guy receives categorical refusals everywhere. But when information appears that the young man has invented a unique algorithm capable of bringing colossal income to its owners, there are more than enough people willing to invest in the business. The main character gathers around him equally gifted geeks, and the team starts working together. Soon they meet a billionaire who offers them his services in promoting the product.

The key roles were played by Thomas Middleditch, who participated in feature films "The Dictator" and "The Wolf of Wall Street", Josh Brenner, who appeared in the shows "Silicon Valley" and "The Big Bang Theory", Kumail Nanjiani, known for the TV series "The X-Files" and "Portlandia", and many other actors. The project has been nominated several times for the "Golden Globe" and "Emmy" film awards.

The premiere was on April 6, 2014. Each season includes 8-10 episodes. The script tells the story of a group of IT specialists and a wealthy person who agrees to help them implement a business project, but not on a pro bono basis.
