The lives of two twin brothers trying to make it in the big city are depicted in eight episodes. Each of them had their own dream. One wanted to become an actor, the other a musician. But fate had different plans. Surviving in New York is associated with great risks. Peter works in restaurants and small public catering establishments. He always wanted to provide for his incomplete family (their father left the boys and their mother when they were 4 and 5) and was an example for his younger brother. Jack never excelled in morality and was a typical troubled teenager. A twist of fate led him to the mafia, to which he now owes a large sum. The older brother doesn't want to abandon his relative in a difficult situation and comes to his aid. But dealing with organized crime together is not that simple. Especially since not only the boys' lives are at stake, but also the safety of their girlfriends. How two close people will resist the mafia can be learned from the dramatic series "Small Shots".
