At the end of 2017, the premiere of a new multi-series thriller called "Sleepers" will take place on the First Channel. Talented Russian actor and artist Yuri Bykov took on directing this series.

The plot takes viewers back to the end of 2013. Russian counterintelligence officers arrive in Ukraine on the eve of the start of mass protests on Kiev's "Maidan". After the situation escalates in North Africa and the Middle East, the special services begin investigating the actions of Western spies who plan to change the balance of power. However, their actions are exposed by Russian special services. The sleeper agents must orchestrate a coup and replace the leaders of states. But a third party to the conflict plans to intervene in this situation. After the intentions of both intelligence organizations become evident, a confrontation between the special services begins. The unsuspecting residents of the capital become victims of this invisible struggle. The author of this show wants to make viewers see this situation from a completely different perspective...
