The television series will be broadcast on the channel IFC, with the premiere of the first episodes expected in September 2016. The plot was developed by Dana Gould, who has been creating storylines for the popular animated series "The Simpsons" since 1998.

The irritable and unrestrained sheriff Stanley Miller has already shown himself in a bad light on multiple occasions, but his latest stunt put an end to his career. He caused a scandal during a funeral procession, not for a stranger, but for his own wife. Now someone else will have to guard the peace of the town. The new sheriff is Ivy Barrett, who is about to face a terrible problem. Bloodthirsty demons roam the streets of the town, but he is not able to stop the invasion of the evil army alone. He has to seek help from the former sheriff. Stanley agrees to the rescue mission, and now they just have to figure out how to stop the uninvited guests. Finding common ground among people who compete with each other is not easy, but the goal will make them forget their grievances for a while. They will have to engage in a battle with the monsters and show their heroism. The popping-out monsters will frighten with their hideous appearance, but at the same time, they will bring some amusing scenes.
