Star Trek: Discovery Season 2

Roddenberry Entertainment film studio has extended the project "Star Trek: Discovery" for Season 2, which is expected to be released in January 2019.

The final series of the first part is scheduled for release in early 2018. The media service Netflix is responsible for the broadcast in Russia. This story is a continuation of the cult work of the same name, which is still one of the most successful fantasy works in the world.

What will happen in season 2

The main characters are humans and alien creatures working side by side on an intergalactic spaceship. For many years they have fought hard so that their descendants can lead prosperous lives. They sincerely believe that all the bloody wars have ended and a time of reconciliation has come, but not everyone shares their opinion. The group embarks on a long journey through space, hoping to explore unknown civilizations and establish friendly relations with them. However, not all of the encountered aliens have a kind-hearted nature. There are also beings that are not in a hurry to show hospitality to the arriving crew members, openly expressing their dissatisfaction. Within the team, there are also minor disagreements, but if they are not resolved in the near future, the small conflict threatens to escalate into major troubles.

The main roles are played by: Shazad Latif, who appeared in the TV series "Spooks" and "Black Mirror", Kenneth Mitchell, who participated in the feature films "Blood Honey" and "Partners", Doug Jones, known for the movies "Bye Bye Man" and "Crimson Peak", and other artists.

The premiere took place on September 24, 2017. 15 episodes were prepared for the show. The central characters are the workers of the interplanetary ship, who have made many amazing discoveries.
