The action takes place in a time of catastrophic inequality. In the Coastal region, the progressive population lives in luxury and doesn't deny themselves any pleasures. In contrast, the poor scum live on the Mainland. They are dressed in horrible rags and eat tasteless scraps. The unfortunate ones are deprived of the opportunity to change their wardrobe items daily, wash themselves, and enjoy delicacies. They lead a miserable existence and dream of wealth. Each representative of the lower class is given an exceptional chance to improve the conditions of their worthless life. The youth is sent to a sterile and clean office belonging to a successful corporation. They have to undergo necessary testing and determine whether the rejects can penetrate the elite circle. The excited youngsters get to know the "inspectors." A specially formed group conducts a thorough interview of the applicants obsessed with the idea of infiltrating privileged society. The key characters are tired of endless poverty and sacrifice a lot for their own well-being. It is very difficult to enter the ranks of the fortunate ones. Only a small percentage is selected. The heroes are given the right to a new life.
