The dramatic TV series can be compared to the feature film "The Great Disappointment", which also touches on the theme of friendship that has stood the test of time.

At the center of this tragicomedy are four old friends whose paths have diverged. One of the characters, who studied together with the others, tried to take the helm of a profitable business, while some built family relationships and had wonderful offspring. The guys rarely thought of each other and seldom communicated. Over time, their affairs fell into disarray. Some of the classmates were shocked by the sudden news of the presence of a cancerous tumor. Refusing to treat the horrible disease, he contemplated taking pills. The second guy cannot handle the problems associated with work situations. The third does not consider himself lucky and admits to being an alcoholic, while the fourth has a passionate mistress and tries to hide the fact of his infidelity from his partner. Suddenly, the main characters learn about the suicide of a mutual acquaintance. They cross paths at the funeral and have a brief conversation. After 10 years of separation, they have something to confess. John's death brought them together. Each one reflected on their situation and realized that they were making a lot of unforgivable mistakes. They had the opportunity to spend a couple of long minutes in an elevator together. The encounter put an end to their gloomy existence and allowed the characters to make amends.
