The NTV channel has taken on the task of adapting one of the most explicit Western TV series, "Shameless" (also known as "Бесстыдники" in Russian). The filming process is being handled by a well-known director in certain circles, Arthur Meer. The show promises 24 episodes in the first season, which are being filmed starting from January 2015.

The plot of the TV series tells the story of the life of a father from a large family who has alcohol problems after his wife leaves him. His six children have learned to rely only on themselves, as all his actions are selfish and aimed solely at fulfilling his own desires. However, this doesn't bother the kids too much, as their wayward parents only brought them more trouble. The role of the head of the family is taken by the oldest sister, thanks to whose efforts the little ones can live comfortably.

However, this typical story for the Russian audience will be shown from the inside and adapted. The characters will not only fight poverty and the troubles that come with it but also support each other.

The aim of the TV series is to promote family values, which all the main characters possess. It can be said that it is thanks to this quality that they all "stay afloat" together.

The original of this TV show was also remade in the USA by Showtime with a similar name, received two Emmy nominations, and had high ratings in England starting from the very first episode.
