Season 1 of the Ukrainian melodrama "Tcentralnaia bolnitca", which tells the everyday difficulties faced by medical workers, concludes on the screens on August 23, 2016, but fans of the genre are already asking questions about the release of its continuation.
The management of the "1+1" channel, at the request of the film studio "1+1 Production" and director Vera Yakovenko, did not make any official statements about the shooting. Provided that the ratings of the show continue to grow from series to series, and the channel decides to extend it, the next season may not be seen until the summer of 2017.
What will happen in the 2nd season
The plot of the film unfolds in a provincial hospital, where doctors fight for the lives of each patient. Miraculous recoveries and tragic deaths occur, leaving negative marks on the fates of the characters. Surgeon Margarita works here, now forced to save lives side by side with her former classmate and past love Rustam. A renewed romance sets their relationship back on track, but Rita still cannot let go of the resentment she has harbored against Rustam in the distant past. And Maxim, who has become famous throughout the hospital for his love affairs, craves her attention. The Ukrainian TV series will reveal how the talented specialist will balance work and personal life.
The film was first shown to the public on July 4, 2016. The release is planned for 60 episodes, filled with the daily life of a hospital and genuine love.
