Matt Drake, one of the producers of the successful TV series "Chesapeake Shores", announced that Season 5 will premiere in the summer of 2020.
The final of season 4 will be shown on the "Hallmark" channel in October 2019. The O'Briens try not to remember past mistakes and learn to forgive their loved ones.
Synopsis of season 5
The story centers around ambitious architect Mick, who has devoted his entire life to work. He is a famous urban planner and sincerely loves the chosen profession. In order to pursue his career, he has to sacrifice communication with his closest relatives. He decides to build a community near a picturesque bay. The charismatic man becomes so engrossed in the process that he doesn't notice how he loses touch with his loved ones. He destroys his own family with his own hands. The attractive wife is tired of enduring the antics of her significant other. The woman breaks up with her beloved. She is forced to leave her children in the care of their grandmother. Nell diligently takes care of her grandchildren. After a few years, they grow up and scatter to different cities. Each of them starts dealing with their own affairs and doesn't think about restoring family ties. Due to certain circumstances, they have to come back to the small settlement where they spent their childhood years. The children are given a unique chance to reconnect with their free-spirited father and learn why their mother abandoned them to fate.
The main roles were played by: Jesse Metcalfe, known to the audience from the films "The Ninth Passenger" and "God's Not Dead 2", Emily Ulerap, involved in feature films "Concrete Canyons" and "On the Brink", Treat Williams, who played in the films "Everwood" and "Deadfall", and other actors.
The premiere was shown to the audience on August 14, 2016. 40 episodes were filmed. The plot revolves around members of one family who try to forget old grievances.
