Detroiters Season 2

New episodes from the 2nd season of the series "Detroiters" will be released in the summer of 2018. The producer of the adventure story, and also the screenplay author, Zach Kanin, announced its renewal for another season.

The production of the foreign comedy project is carried out by the film company Broadway Video. The director invited was John Solomon, who participated in the creation of the film "The Last Man on Earth". The finale of the first season will air in April 2017. The broadcast is being carried out on the American TV channel "Comedy Central". The events take place in Detroit - a city that was once known as the automotive heart of the United States.

Season 2 Announcement

Currently, there is no trace left of the former glory. The streets of the town are rapidly emptying. People are rushing to move to more prosperous places. Banks, train stations, and entertainment buildings cannot boast of having visitors and gradually fall into bankruptcy. The cause of it all is the air contamination due to the existence of industrial enterprises. Every day, it becomes harder for the local population to breathe, and those who are well-off, together with their family members, hurriedly abandon their homes. The remaining townspeople, predominantly African Americans, engage in petty theft and arson of the structures that are still standing. The main characters are optimistic advertisers who do not want to leave their native territories. They believe that the situation will change for the better and are ready to do anything to restore the district to its former glory.

The key roles were played by Sam Richardson, known for the films "We're the Millers" and "Ghostbusters", Cara Annmarie, who appeared in the movies "Relatives" and "Isolation", Jay R. Adams, who starred in the series "Conan" and "Banshee", and many other equally talented artists.

The premiere episode was shown on February 2, 2017. A total of 10 episodes were released. The story revolves around two guys who earn money by shooting low-budget videos and patiently await the return of the residents.
