Masha wanted to be a happy woman and a successful professional. She dreamed of entering a prestigious institute and aspired to a career as an artist. The young girl was in a relationship with a wonderful guy, Sergey, and believed that she would soon become his wife. She planned to have a magnificent wedding and give her newlywed husband healthy children. But her father was sent to prison. In order to save her closest relative from jail, she had to agree to marry her hateful enemy. Trofimova was forced to marry the gloomy cripple Ignat. He limps badly and has a lot of terrible flaws. The attractive young lady tries to accept her unfortunate fate and find positive qualities in her second half. After several years, Sergey reappears on her horizon. He is resentful towards his former lover and plans to seek revenge for her humiliations. In one moment of despair, the heroine loses her mansion, beloved son, and dear people. She is pursued by criminal figures and the police.

The main roles were played by: Valery Afanasiev, who gained fame in feature films "Kalashnikov" and "Reluctant Father", Inga Oboldina, who took part in the series "Coal" and "Leningrader", Alexander Samoylenko, who played in the films "Everything is Simple" and "Government Order", and other actors.
