Doktor Martov Season 2

The production center "Lean-M", responsible for producing the domestic comedy TV series "Doctor Martin", has announced the decision to extend the drama for the 2nd season, the release of which is scheduled for the second half of 2020.

The finale of the first part will air in autumn 2019. The broadcast will take place on "Pervy Kanal". This project is an adaptation of the famous British show "Doc Martin". The series ran for several years and became very popular both in its home country and beyond.

The plot revolves around an eccentric and stubborn middle-aged man working in a capital medical institution. Due to his unbearable character and excessive explosiveness, his superiors do not favor him and dream of getting rid of their self-willed employee, who considers himself always right. He freely expresses his own point of view whenever possible and insults not only patients but also the higher management. One day, circumstances lead him to leave Moscow and move to a rural backwater. There, the irredeemable rude person finds a job in a local clinic and tries to start a new life. The highly professional surgeon tries to establish contact with the villagers, which is not always successful. As a result, he becomes the victim of various funny incidents and situations.

The names of the actors involved in the main roles have not been disclosed yet. However, the creators of the film have assured viewers that well-known and talented Russian artists were invited to embody the images of the main characters.

The premiere episode is scheduled for October 2019. A total of 16 episodes have been filmed. The script tells the story of a doctor who faces a series of problems because he never learned how to get along with other people.
