In the 21st century, the inhabitants of the night are nothing more than a beautiful and terrifying fairy tale. Vampire movies are certainly popular, but they are no longer seen as a possible reality, and that's a mistake. Ruslan is an inconspicuous resident of a provincial town. However, the silence and monotony of his life come to an end after meeting the beauty Zlata. The meeting turns out to be not accidental. Overnight, the whole truth about his birth overwhelms the young man. He is a descendant of an ancient vampire clan on his father's side. In his youth, his mother, an ordinary human woman, attracted a vampire, causing him to reject his own nature. As a result of their union, a half-blood child was born, possessing the powerful force of the clan. For unknown reasons, the nocturnal resident disappeared, leaving his beloved family soon after the birth of the heir. The mother decided to raise Ruslan as an ordinary person, keeping the truth a secret. Furthermore, the hero learns that the vampires, who have not appeared in human settlements for many years, plan to take power and exterminate humans at their discretion. However, it is too early to lose hope. The salvation of humanity lies in the power dormant within the half-vampire, capable of fighting the approaching army. But can he handle it, or is such a decision equivalent to suicide?
