A multi-series action movie of Russian production by talented film director Dmitry Lavrov, titled "Joker," tells the story of a former military man who finds himself in the epicenter of criminal skirmishes in Moscow.

During his time in service, Arthur Korolev earned the status of an unparalleled sniper, but after being in one of the "hot spots," he decided to leave the military profession and return to his homeland. However, he didn't get to rest from combat actions and live peacefully for long. Soon, gangsters kill his father, and Korolev catches the eye of his father's long-time friend, Moscow authority figure "Ugryumy." He needed a person who could shoot well and had impeccable military training because the times were very volatile, and it was sometimes impossible to settle certain matters without a good hired killer. He managed to persuade the young man to help him with his affairs, which soon forces Arthur to get involved with dangerous criminals, witness a terrible shootout, and later end up in prison. There, his views on the universe change drastically, and he stops believing in his former ideals. He accepts the offer from his cunning father's friend and becomes a ruthless killer – bloodthirsty and not leaving a chance for survival.
