Five Ghosts release date
The television channel Syfy has announced its intention to adapt the comic book "Five Ghosts" created by Frank Barbiere and Chris Mitten. Evan Daugherty, known for his work on the scripts for the Hollywood films "Snow White and the Huntsman" and "Divergent," will take on the pilot episode.
The main character of this mystical drama makes a living by searching for treasures. Obtaining a huge supply of gold is the goal of his life. Besides this obsessive idea, the hero is haunted by ghosts. He has to coexist with these spectral souls, who are the characters from ancient legends and tales. They include the powerful wizard Merlin, the famous detective Sherlock Holmes, the kind-hearted outlaw Robin Hood, the terrifying Count Dracula, and the legendary Japanese ronin Miyamoto Musashi. They travel together with the main character and help him find answers to many questions. The Five Ghosts belong to different cultures and historical epochs. Some are considered positive characters, while others embody absolute evil. Despite all the differences, they are determined to solve the main mystery of his life together with the hero. However, the enemies are not idle. They intend to hinder the hero from achieving his goal. They are willing to make many sacrifices for this.
