"Five Ghosts" is a fairly popular comic book from the publisher "Image", which, according to the official statement of representatives of the Syfy channel, will soon appear on the blue screens.
The release date for the premiere episode is scheduled for May 10, 2017. The film will be directed by the well-known Evan Doteri, who already has such box office hits as "Divergent" and "Snow White and the Huntsman" under his belt. The project producer is the film studio "Universal Cable Productions". The second season of the show "Five Ghosts" will not be released before 2018.
About the series
The plot revolves around a young hero who has been searching for hidden treasures since childhood, which allows him to earn a living. But finding a truly grandiose treasure is his only goal in life. He is aided in this endeavor by spirits with whom he constantly communicates: the exceptional London detective Sherlock Holmes, the legendary magician Merlin, the benevolent outlaw Robin Hood, the Japanese samurai Miyamoto Musashi, and the terrifying vampire Dracula. These ghosts are radically different from each other, but without the help of each of them, the hero is unable to uncover the main secret of his life and avoid a gruesome death at the hands of relentless enemies.
The creators of the series have officially stated that currently only the filming of the pilot episode is being discussed, but a sufficiently long saga about the treasure hunter is not ruled out.
