Game Of Thrones release date
The television series "Game Of Thrones" premiered on the American cable channel HBO on April 17, 2011. The script for the successful fantasy show is based on George R.R. Martin's series of books "A Song of Ice and Fire." This TV project has set records not only in popularity, but also in the budget spent on filming.
The story unfolds in a fictional world that is somewhat similar to Europe in the 12th-14th centuries. Seasons here stretch over several years, and the northern part of the country is surrounded by a wall, guarded against an unknown and mythical threat. The main part of the story is intrigue and struggle for the throne of the Seven Kingdoms. Each ruler tries to take the place of the king, which inevitably leads to civil war. After the death of the current king Robert Baratheon, the Lannister and Stark families begin a civil confrontation for the throne. In addition, Daenerys Targaryen, whose family was overthrown from the throne, will try to reclaim her right to rule, recently deceased Robert.
Each ruler has their own trump card up their sleeve, and the incredible twists of the plot, constantly claiming the lives of the main characters, captivate viewers more and more with each season in this fantasy universe.
