Tainstvennaia strast release date
The First Channel will release a multi-series adaptation of Vasily Aksenov's novel "Mysterious Passion" in 2016. The TV show is directed by Vlad Furman, who has already made similar projects for the channel before. In total, 12 episodes are planned for the first season.
The plot takes us back to the past century and tells the story of the so-called "sixtiers". This subculture of Soviet intelligentsia became a significant part of the USSR history.
The main characters of the TV series are the writer with the fictional name Aksyon Vakson (Vasily Aksenov) and Ralissa Kochevaya (Maya Carmen). They have to hide their real names because of the harsh regime in the country that does not tolerate the truth. A romance erupts between the writer and the poetess, which becomes the central figure of the screenplay.
The book itself describes the lives of such famous people as Roshdestvensky, Vladimir Vysotsky, Bella Akhmadulina, Ernst Neizvestny, and other iconic personalities of that generation. The author not only introduces us to the conditions in which they had to create, but also artistically depicts the story of their hidden love.
