In Nevada, a dangerous criminal gang operates. Its mercenary, Miles Delli, wants to step away from the business and become a film producer. The reason is his daughter, for whom he is willing to give up his criminal past. He also hopes that his wife will return to him. In addition, in Hollywood, he can launder the stolen money, which will be enough for him for years to come. However, luck is not in a hurry to meet Delli. In Los Angeles, Miles meets a director of low-budget action films. Now they become partners. But old friends of the future producer are in no hurry to part with his services. They fly after him and try to find him in order to squeeze out old debts. Once he wanted to win money for filming a movie in blackjack, but as usual, lost big. Now the mafia members are actively looking for the debtor, and they don't care that he decided to change his profession. Now Miles has become the boss of a small film company, and meetings with former colleagues are very inconvenient for him. While gangster shootings are taking place on the set, similar troubles are happening to the director in reality.
