Donners Company film studio has announced that the second season of the science fiction TV series "The Gifted" will be released in the autumn of 2018.
The last episode of the 1st season is expected to be broadcast on the TV channel "FOX" at the beginning of 2018. This exciting project is based on well-known comics.

The story centers around an American family, each member of which is busy with their own affairs. Reed is the husband of a beautiful woman and the father of two unruly children. In order to send his children to prestigious universities in the future, he constantly disappears at work. The man holds a position as a lawyer in court and managed to earn the respect of his superiors, who promise him an excellent career. Everything changes dramatically on the day when the underage heirs discover paranormal abilities in themselves. The actions of such individuals are carefully monitored by a special service. Special agents catch dangerous mutants and isolate them from the rest of society, believing that such creatures can cause irreparable harm to property and take the lives of ordinary mortals. Worried parents began to seriously fear for their children, so they dared to take a serious step. Leaving their home in a prosperous area and losing a good source of income, the spouses quickly packed their bags, deciding to protect their son and daughter from an unsightly fate of being imprisoned.
The leading characters on the screens are portrayed by: Stephen Moyer, who appeared in feature films "The Pastor" and "The Double Agent", Sean Teale, who participated in television shows "Skins" and "Incorporated", Amy Acker, who appeared in films "The Cabin in the Woods" and "Dear Santa", and other actors.
The premiere was shown on October 2, 2017. The season consists of 13 episodes. Due to the sudden appearance of supernatural abilities in their beloved children, the experienced lawyer flees with his close relatives in an unknown direction.
