Britannia Season 2

The film studio Vertigo Films has announced that the release of the second season of the foreign TV series 'Britannia' is scheduled for autumn 2018.

The final series of the first part is expected to be broadcasted on the "Sky 1" channel in December 2017. The action of the fantastic action movie is set in the 43rd year of our era.

What will happen in Season 2

The events take place during the reign of Caesar, who was famous for his merciless deeds. Deciding to gain power over the whole world, he issues a decree to attack a foreign state. Brave warriors have made numerous attempts to seize British lands and subjugate the freedom-loving tribe under the wise and cruel ruler. But the local inhabitants united to give a worthy resistance to the enemies and defend their country. However hard the persistent invader tried, he could not conquer the mighty empire. After a long time, his cause was continued by Emperor Claudius. But the Britons were more united than ever and confident in their own strength. The ruler gained powerful allies, including Aulus Plautius. It was him who was entrusted to form a detachment and go to capture the enemy army. He was appointed as the commander-in-chief of the 20,000-strong army and skillfully led the people. Among the heroes, there is also a Celtic princess who cannot choose between her love for her people and the Druids.
