The storyline tells the story of a family living in the USA. This big family has four children who were adopted and come from different backgrounds. One of them came to the USA from the always restless Somalia. This country is known for pirates and constant armed conflicts. The second child is from Vietnam, and the third from South America. He was born in Colombia and, through a series of incredible adventures, ended up in America. The wealthy couple has one biological child who is being raised on equal terms with the adopted children from different parts of the world. The head of the family is a philology professor who has become famous for several scientific works. The mother is a successful lawyer. It seems that everything is fine in this multicultural family. However, the parents try to hide the fact that one of the children increasingly claims to be visited by strange visions. The parents begin to worry about their child's mental state. Why does he so convincingly tell about horrifying things? How can this affect the other children? The first attempts to find out the reasons for what is happening lead to shocking discoveries.
