The goal is to capture hostages who find themselves in the Spanish Mint for a substantial ransom. Despite the success of the operation, the subsequent events were not part of the planned scheme. Instead of immediately receiving the money, the criminals had to wait for days of negotiations with government representatives. The tension among the bandits, the fear for the lives of the unfortunate hostages, and the introspection about the rightness of her actions on the part of the main heroine lead to an unexpected turn of events.
