The Magicians Season 2

Therefore, they intend to film a continuation of the novel. The second season, which will also consist of 13 episodes, will be released in early 2017. The script for the new episodes already exists, as at the time of writing this text, three novels with the same name have been released.

What will happen in the new episodes

Quentin Coldwater, who is studying at Brakebills College, has been very successful in the craft of magic. During his studies, incredible opportunities opened up for him, which he couldn't even dream of as an ordinary person. Together with Julia, they find themselves in Fillory, where they are looking for the Beast.

The series "The Magicians" tells the story of Quentin Coldwater, who ends up in a hidden college of magic, hidden from ordinary people. There he learns about the existence of parallel portals, as well as his limitless possibilities, which he will have to develop throughout his education.

In the first season of the series, there were only 13 episodes, which were shown on SyFy on Mondays at 9 PM. The filming process took place in Vancouver. Initially, the show was planned to be shown on FOX, but the president of the channel did not give it the green light after viewing the pilot episode. However, the management of SyFy appreciated Michael London's idea of adapting the book and ordered the filming of the series in May 2015.
