On September 29, 2013, a new dramatic multi-series film "Masters of Sex" was released, produced in the United States. It was first released on the cable television channel Showtime.

The plot revolves around a young couple who, being scientists, decided to dedicate their research to a very difficult task. It is difficult to pursue one's favorite occupation when it is condemned by society. In a time when sex was and is everywhere, but feared to be openly discussed, the two main characters decide to change all these norms. William Masters, along with his partner Virginia Johnson, become pioneers in experiments on the intimate component of the human body. They began conducting their first experiments in the laboratory, using only themselves. After several years of work, they could firmly be considered experts in the relationships between men and women. The heroes claimed that it is all within the nature of human physique and cannot be fought against. Working together on their favorite work, they felt it towards each other. Their revolutionary works and relationships made a revolution in the minds of every American. Since then, sex was no longer considered something shameful, on the contrary, it began to be openly discussed. The couple themselves could not live together until the end of their days, as they received a lot of attention, infidelity, envy, and other negative feelings arose.
