Eddie Rivera and Brendan Fitzgerald have been best friends since a long time ago. Brendan decided to go to college and continue his education. Meanwhile, Eddie stays in their town to engage in drug dealing. Soon, Brendan realizes that his friend needs to be pulled out of this mess. Brendan suggests to Rivera to follow his advice and also enroll in school. But the drug business is not that simple. Eddie is not ready to quit his job. He leaves the business to Brendan's parents. Secretly from their son, they engage in selling illegal substances. The money they earn goes towards Mrs. Fitzgerald's treatment. The woman suffers from Alzheimer's disease. After some time, it becomes known that she has disappeared. Whether this is connected to her illness or to connections in the criminal sphere is unknown. Finally, the parents are forced to confess to Brendan that they had been hiding their trade from him. The boy is furious at his friend. But now they need to unite in order to find Mrs. Fitzgerald. Eddie reaches out to his police contacts, but Captain Alex Migs suspects that he will become a pawn in a possible kidnapping case.
