Muumilaakso Season 2

Gutsy Animations studio representative assured the public that Season 2 of the animated series "Moominvalley" will premiere in spring 2020.

The finale of the first season is expected to be shown in the second half of 2019. The fascinating and incredibly colorful project is based on the work written by Tove Jansson.

The events unfold in an amazing place where mysterious and incredibly friendly creatures live. They mostly resemble white bears in appearance. However, the long tail has nothing to do with these animals. The charming creatures try to live in harmony and avoid quarrels with their neighbors over trivial matters. Each of them adheres to a set schedule and hibernates during the winter. They only wake up with the arrival of warm spring. However, the adorable little Moomintroll does not want to live by the rules. He is used to listening to the older generation and has no complaints about his immediate relatives. But the members of the family refuse to listen to his opinion categorically, as they do not see an adult in him. Such a situation upsets the main character. He has a curious nature and tries to remain true to his own ideals. The curious creature dares to go against the will of his close ones and sets off to explore the surrounding world. The teenager learns many interesting things and witnesses amazing stories.

The key characters were voiced by: Richard Ayoade, known for his roles in feature films "The Watch" and "The Festival", Taron Egerton, who appeared in films "Billionaire Boys Club" and "Legend", Matt Berry, who played in TV series "Toast of London" and "Portlandia", and other artists.

The premiere in Russia took place in the spring of 2019. 13 episodes were filmed. The focus is on the wonderful Moomintroll, who is trying to find the meaning of life.
