The film company "Russian" announced that the launch of Season 2 of the TV series "On the Edge" will occur no earlier than mid-2020.

The final episode of the 1st season will be shown on the channel "Russia-1" at the end of 2018. The story is dedicated to three brave women who find themselves in a difficult life situation.

The main heroines turned out to be naive ladies who fell under the influence of a treacherous person. One of them led an active life, socializing with companions and having an affair with a charming cavalier. Elena lived in the capital and received a good education. She did not expect that one unremarkable day everything would change drastically. She learned that her family was falling apart. Her father got tired of her mother and decided to leave her, going to the girl who interested him. Lena could not come to terms with her parents' divorce, but what undermined her even more was her boyfriend's betrayal. She suffered a love failure and fell into depression. To raise the spirits of the young student, cheerful Ruslan helped her. He restored her faith in the better and invited her to the Middle East. The lovely girl did not know that her new friend was involved in recruiting people. The guy started corresponding on social media with the charming Ekaterina, inviting her on a journey. Instead of a memorable vacation in pleasant company, she fell into the hands of terrorists. The freedom-loving Amina, who dreams of finding traces of her long-lost husband, also ends up there.

The main roles are played by: Nikolai Fomenko, who appeared in feature films "The Rat Hunter" and "Full Speed Ahead", Diana Pozharskaya, a star of the films "Unknown Soldier" and "Eclipse", Feruza Ruzieva, who appeared in the series "Golden Horde" and "Kitchen", and other actors.

The project is scheduled to start in the second half of 2018. There are 8 episodes. At the center of the events are charming and fearless captives who decide to resist the bandits.
