Each episode of the series "Unknown" is a standalone story.

The police discover an unknown person with complete amnesia. He was not found on the missing lists, and no features like tattoos or scars were found either. It's as if the guy never existed. The only thing the unknown person has is a phenomenal brain with the ability to memorize and comprehend information in a matter of seconds. Initially, he was accused of a crime, but the extraordinary talent of Shagin helps him to refute it and start pursuing the real culprit. In order to reach his past, he has to work with the police as part of a special department called "Bureau." This department was formed to handle cases of exceptional complexity that regular staff could not solve. All of Shagin's new colleagues have extensive knowledge, work experience, and thorough training, but this person without a past significantly surpasses them. Involuntarily, those around him have to doubt everything he says. Does this invisible person with a computer in his brain really not remember his past?
