The episodes of the 8th season of the popular project "Orange Is the New Black" will be shown to viewers in the summer of 2020.

Netflix plans to show the final episode of the 7th part in the middle of 2019. The thrilling drama is based on an autobiographical work written by Piper Kerman.

The plot revolves around a pretty and cheerful woman who lived in New York and was completely satisfied with her own life. She had no idea that soon she would have to forget about comfort and find herself behind bars. It all happened because of a terrible mistake made in her wild youth. During that time, she was dating a real rebel, Alexa. The charismatic friend earned money by distributing illegal drugs. The main character found the strength to break up with the criminal. However, a decade later, law enforcement officers unexpectedly appeared on her doorstep. The police presented her with a serious accusation and arrested her. After the trial, the attractive woman lost almost everything she had achieved in recent years. She lost the support of her closest friends and her lover. Her family turned away from her. The lady ended up in prison and tried not to lose hope. She quickly realized that every inmate had personal problems and experiences.

The key roles were played by Danielle Brooks, who appeared in the films "I Dream Too Much" and "Take Care", Selenis Leyva, who appeared in the series "Only the Truth" and "The Good Wife", Taylor Schilling, who played in the feature films "Lucky One" and "Stay", and other artists.

The premiere took place on July 11, 2013. The season consists of 13 episodes. The story revolves around an ordinary city dweller who finds herself in prison.
