Poldark Season 6

Polly Hill, executive producer of the TV series "Poldark", revealed that Season 6 will be shown to viewers in the summer of 2020.

The channel "BBC One" will broadcast the final of the 5th part in mid 2019. The dramatic creation is based on a successful work written by the remarkable novelist Winston Graham.

The events unfold in the 18th century. The focus is on a brave and hardworking guy named Ross, who had to leave his closest relatives and beloved girlfriend. At the beginning of the war, he went to the front where he fought fiercely against relentless enemies and ruthlessly destroyed opponents. After three years, the man returns to his homeland in a despondent state of mind. He gets involved with smugglers and, to avoid deserved punishment, is forced to leave home. No one was waiting for him there. His elderly parent died and did not have time to settle affairs. The charming bride appointed an engagement with another suitor. The young man unexpectedly finds himself faced with an unprincipled competitor. George is obsessed with the idea of gaining control over the half-destroyed mine that belongs to the deceased father of the key character. He is not willing to easily part with the inheritance he received and makes persistent attempts to restore the family business. He marries the beauty he recently saved. Several years later, a revolution begins in the country.

The lead roles are played by: Aidan Turner, who became known for his roles in "The Clinic" and "The Alarm", Gabriella Wilde, who appeared in feature films like "Telekinesis" and "Dark Horse", Tristan Sturrock, known for his roles in the series "Wycliffe" and "The Queen", and other actors.

The audience was able to see the first episodes on March 8, 2015. The season includes 8-10 episodes. The plot revolves around a soldier who dreams of peace.
