The WGN America channel premiered the show "Outsiders" on Tuesdays at the beginning of 2016.

The show revolves around the long-standing Farrell family. Living in the mountains like hermits, this large community does not welcome outsiders into their homes and tries to hide their way of life behind high walls and cliffs. It is extremely dangerous for any ordinary person to appear near their dwelling, so various myths surround them. Fictional or not entirely true stories deter the people from nearby settlements from interfering in their lives. However, the hidden place also attracts the attention of wealthy people who want to acquire a desirable piece of property. But the Farrells have repeatedly proven that they will not leave their homes under any pretext. The outsiders to civilization live by their own laws and traditions, which were established by their ancestors many years ago. Anyone who trespasses on their land will be punished according to the customs of the outcast family, which naturally does not sit well with the local police. The laws of the United States mean nothing to the Farrells - they do not hesitate to cross the line, beyond which crimes and serious offenses can be committed. So far, they have managed to avoid punishment because the family's relatives hold positions of power in the neighboring towns and cover up the lawlessness and existence of this settlement.
