Poldark Season 3

Viewers approved the new version of the beloved film and the management of the television company announced in July 2016 its intention to film the third season. BBC plans to launch it in the summer of 2017. The number of episodes in the new chapter of the story is still unknown.

Historical novels by Winston Graham have already been adapted by the BBC in the 1970s. The modern version of the TV series started in early 2015 and to this day, the BBC is broadcasting the second season of this big saga about the Poldark family.

Plot Synopsis of the 3rd season

After the war for the independence of the United States, the main character returns to Cornwall, where his family owns copper mines. The death of his father has definitively disturbed the family affairs. He hopes to fix the mine's operations and revive the former prosperity of the great dynasty. The main character is in for an unpleasant disappointment. His fiancée, convinced of Ross's death, broke off their engagement. But the family's affairs do not allow for long mourning over lost love. The fate of the whole village depends on his actions, as most of its inhabitants work in the mine and are completely at the mercy of how successfully it will operate. A wealthy neighbor who wants to gain control over the concession wishes to take over the newly emerging copper mines. Ross's personal life is improving. Trying to protect a young person, he takes her under his care. After coming to his house as a kitchen maid, the girl soon becomes an indispensable assistant in all his endeavors. Thus, a faithful life companion appears in his life.

The second season of the series, which will continue airing until October 2016, has been highly appreciated by fans of historical romance. The BBC will show the continuation of this beautiful story in 2017.
