Powerless Season 2

The premiere of the American project "Powerless", which is about people living in a city full of superheroes and suffering more losses than benefits from them, will start on the American cable channel NBS in January 2017. However, genre fans, after seeing the teasers, were so interested in the series that they are already waiting for the release of the second season.

About the extension of the film, neither the NBS TV channel, which is responsible for the shooting process, nor the director Michael Patrick Jann have announced yet because it is still unknown how successful the film will be in terms of ratings. In case of a successful start and positive audience reviews, the second season can be expected presumably in 2018.

What will happen in the second season

The plot of the multi-series comedy is set in a modern world full of people endowed with super abilities and ready to save the population from any adversity, while practically destroying everything around them. Such a situation forces the creation of numerous insurance companies, whose main activity is compensating for the damage caused by these pseudo-heroes. Emily, a completely ordinary girl without supernatural powers, works in one of these firms. She became a participant in an epic battle of superheroes against crime and emerged as a heroine herself. Now the insurance agent is lost in thought: in order to not live in the shadow of superheroes, it is not necessary to have any miraculous abilities...

The adventure series, created in a comedic genre with the original use of amusing costumes for fictional superheroes, promises to become one of the most popular projects on the NBS TV channel.
