Representatives of the FX channel and director Noah Hawley did not give an answer to this question that interests all genre fans, although they noted that the series should have a stunning success. In the case of renewal, the project will see the light no earlier than spring 2018.

The plot of the multi-series fantasy will not be a sequel or prequel to the movie "X-Men". It will take place at the same time, but in a parallel reality. The central character will be David Haller, the heir of the Professor, a fervent fighter for fair treatment of people with mutations. In the world mentioned, not all earthlings know about mutants, only the government, which skillfully uses them to achieve its not always good goals. Which heroes will appear in the new series will be known very soon.

The creators planned to release 11 episodes, the scripts of the last ones are not yet finished, so it is not known until the end who will stand on the side of evil and good in the war against human cruelty.
