Preacher Season 5

A representative of the film studio Point Grey Pictures announced that the 5th season of the project "Preacher" will start in the summer of 2021.

The finale of the 4th season will be shown on the channel "AMC" closer to the fall of 2020. The main character is a fearless priest who dared to risk himself for the sake of humanity.

For a long period, Jesse has been trying to be a law-abiding citizen and bring benefit to society. He chose a quite challenging job for himself, becoming a clergyman. The young man sincerely believed that everyone has the right to make mistakes and have a second chance. He patiently listened to the confessions of sinners and instilled faith in their own abilities. His peaceful life underwent radical changes. It happened at the moment when a bloodthirsty creature invaded the city named Annville. A powerful creature sowed chaos among the native population and eliminated most of them. Genesis is the result of the union of the almighty devil and an angel. It can fight and triumph over God Himself. For this reason, the Lord decided to leave heaven and went in an unknown direction. Custer has to leave unfinished business and prepare for a long journey. He set himself the goal of finding the escaped deity and asking for help. His former girlfriend and a vampire of Irish origin travel with him.

The leading roles were played by: Dominic Cooper, who starred in the series "Inspector Jericho" and "Sense and Sensibility", Ian Colletti, who appeared in feature films "Jimmy" and "Orphan-Killer", Graham McTavish, who was involved in the films "Repentance" and "Sixth Gun", and other artists.

The premiere took place on March 14, 2016. There were 43 episodes produced. The plot revolves around several travelers who have to carry out a global mission to save the world.
