Rake Season 2

Due to low ratings of the American comedy project "Rake," the film company Fedora Entertainment, responsible for its production, has decided to cancel the series. This means that there are no plans for a second season of the show.

The final of the first part was broadcasted on the television channel "FOX" on June 27, 2014. This story is a remake of the Australian drama of the same name.

About the plot of the series

The main character is an enterprising young man who once received a legal education and works in the profession. He specializes in criminal offenses. His relationships with his wife didn't work out. After breaking up with his second half, Dean went all out. He drinks without conscience, takes banned drugs, dates prostitutes, enjoys noisy parties, and considers all this as a normal life. The man also borrowed a large sum of money from the mafia and has no idea when he will be able to pay off the debt. Now faces of criminal appearance follow him closely demanding to pay the money back. The main character could earn them by performing his professional duties, but he prefers to take up easy cases, those in which the criminal has already confessed and there is no need to make much effort to defend the defendant. However, when the troubles pile on, he proves to those around him that he is capable of being a competent and successful lawyer.

Greg Kinnear, known for his roles in the films "We Were Soldiers" and "The Kennedys", John Ortiz, who appeared in the movies "The Drop" and "Fast & Furious", Miranda Otto, who starred in TV shows "Homeland" and "24: Legacy", and many other actors were invited to play key roles.

The premiere episode was shown on January 23, 2014. A total of 13 episodes were shot. The script tells the story of a lawyer who, due to certain circumstances, is forced to take on more complex cases than he is used to.
