The elite and incredibly beautiful cottage village with the speaking name "Paradise Corner" is a model of the modern and successful world. It is inhabited by well-off people who value tranquility and comfort. It is impossible to buy housing here with regular income, every square meter is worth a lot of money. Wealthy people are willing to pay well for their peace and comfort. A modest young girl named Lera from Belarus comes here and finds a job in this village. She gets hired as a housekeeper in one of the huge mansions. The hosts welcome her hospitably, and she diligently performs all her duties. Due to the difference in exchange rates, many residents of Belarus come to Russia to work. Therefore, Lera's arrival does not surprise anyone and is not given much importance. However, the true motive of the young girl is completely different - she wants to trace the footsteps of Lesya, her friend, who left a year ago to work in this elite village. Then the girl disappeared without a trace, and now Vera is ready to do anything to find her best friend. Soon, the brave girl realizes that practically every resident of this seemingly heavenly place has their own unpleasant secret.
