Rusalki Season 2

As reported by Alexander Tsekalo, the producer of the mystical drama "Rusalki", the 2nd season of the intriguing story is planned to be released at the end of 2020.

The final episode of the first part will be aired on the "Pervyi Kanal" in the second half of 2019. This TV series is a Russian adaptation of the Israeli project of the same name, which is highly popular in its homeland.

The events take place in the seaside town of Tuapse. One sunny day, a murdered girl is discovered on the shore of the Black Sea. Law enforcement officers, who arrived at the crime scene, are forced to witness a horrifying scene. There is almost no evidence, but the police have no choice but to open a criminal case. During the investigation, remarkable details are revealed. It turns out that the deceased is related to a local investigator. Almost two decades ago, an unfortunate accident happened to her twin sister. Ulyana went for a swim and never returned. Close relatives believed she had drowned, but there are no signs of decomposition on her body, which means that the woman died recently. Larisa intends to uncover the truth, no matter how bitter it may be, and boldly embarks on revealing all the circumstances of what happened.

The names of the actors who participated in the filming process are still unknown. Karen Oganesyan, who gained fame after releasing such cinematographic works as "Gift with Character" and "Five Brides," has been invited as the director of the mini-series.

The premiere will take place in 2019. 10 captivating episodes are expected to be shown. The charming detective Nazarova is at the center of the plot, who has set herself the goal of solving the amazing mysteries of the past and identifying the bloodthirsty criminal.
