Salvation Season 2

Stuart Gillard, the executive producer of the American science fiction project "Salvation," promised fans of the drama that Season 2 would be ready for release in the summer of 2018.

The final of the first part took place in October 2017 on the television channel "CBS". Individual citizens of the United States learn that a global catastrophe is imminent.

One of the main characters is determined and active middle-aged lady named Grace Darrow. She holds a responsible position as Secretary of the Pentagon and takes her work very seriously. The woman understands that the whole country is watching her, so she is aware that every word and decision must be carefully considered. She has a complicated relationship with her daughter. Sometimes it is difficult for close relatives to find a common language, but they sincerely love each other and support each other when necessary. Everything changes the moment the heroine learns about the approaching asteroid. The government is informed of the impending danger by a student from a prestigious university who has calculated the approximate time of the tragedy. The young man is convinced that it is not possible to save the entire population of the home planet, so he works with a hardworking team of professionals to protect at least a part of the people.

The key roles were played by Erika Lattrell, who starred in the TV series "Criminal Minds" and "Justice League", Charlie Rowe, who appeared in the feature films "Rock Wave" and "Don't Let Me Go", Jennifer Finnigan, the star of the films "Cover-Up" and "The Weaker Sex", and other artists.

The premiere episode was shown on July 12, 2017. A total of 13 episodes were filmed. Earth awaits a natural disaster, but city residents live peaceful lives and are unaware of their tragic fate. Only a few geniuses persistently search for a way out of the deadlock.
