In 2015, fans of detective series had the opportunity to enjoy an excellent project called "Secrets and Lies". The film was directed by outstanding directors Adam Arkin and Kate Dennis, along with talented screenwriters Stephen Irwin and Barbie Kligman.

The central character of the plot is a young man named Ben Crawford. The main hero could not have imagined in his worst nightmare that after one event his life would turn into a horror film. He accidentally stumbled upon the body of a boy in the forest. And his face was familiar to him, this child lived in close proximity to his house. The most frustrating thing is that our law enforcement system doesn't really like to investigate cases. And if someone is involved in a criminal scheme, all suspicions immediately fall on them. Why bother with connections, evidence, reasons, when you can just take and put all the accusations on the main hero, he found - he killed. They would have imprisoned the guy if the detective Andrea Cornell hadn't taken the case. The woman decided that she would find out the truth at any cost. She is an experienced worker, but the information that started to emerge even was difficult for her to comprehend. Now the heroine has learned all the secrets of the town, which from the outside seemed like the most pleasant place. And in reality, it's far from peaceful here. But will the heroine be able to justify Ben? Will she be able to punish all the guilty ones?
