According to the assurances of Alexander Tkachenko, the producer of the Ukrainian comedic drama "Selo na million", the second season of the story will be ready for airing by autumn 2017.
The final episode of Part 1 aired on the TV channel "1+1" in December 2016. The story revolves around three grandchildren of Yuhim Kibtsya. Grandfather recently passed away, but left behind a substantial inheritance.
Season 2 Preview
Kateryna and her two cousins can't believe their luck. Soon they will become full-fledged owners of 1,000,000 euros, but to do so, they must fulfill the conditions specified in the will. The kids are obliged to move from their hometowns to a small settlement located in Western Ukraine and live there for a whole year. If anyone of them leaves the village for more than a day, they lose the right to receive the money. If everyone violates the rules, the finances go to the control of the community, led by local resident Ivan. Thus, young people have no choice but to play the game devised by the deceased in his lifetime. They had no idea that the old man was rich. Despite this, none of them doubts the existence of the treasure. Family relationships are far from ideal. Conflicts often arise between the cousins and sister. Kolya considers himself a real loser and is unable to find a good job. Katya works in a medical institution and receives a meager salary. Timur was provided for by his parents and is used to having everything ready. Each of them strives to eliminate competitors and win the competition for a big fortune.
The key roles were played by Dmitry Sova, who appeared in the projects "Threads of Fate" and "Grechanka", Anna Koshmal, who starred in the TV series "Letter of Hope" and "Servant of the People", Konstantin Voitenko, known for his cinematographic works "Major and Magic" and "Hostess", and other artists.
The premiere took place on November 28, 2016. A total of 12 episodes were filmed. In pursuit of the promised capital, the main characters are forced to go to rural areas.
