Shef Season 4

September 2015 marked the release of the 3rd season of the domestic series "Shef", which tells the story of a disillusioned law enforcement officer disappointed in the Russian justice system.

The premiere of the 4th season is expected on September 11, 2016, on the NTV channel, once again inviting Anatoly Artamonov and Oleg Larin as directors.

What will happen in the 4th season

The series describes the events in the life of Colonel Viktor Rastorguev, who, due to his principled views and decisive measures in fighting crime, was sent by higher authorities to serve in St. Petersburg. On the spot, he was offered to become the head of one of the St. Petersburg departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. However, even there Viktor cannot ignore his conscience, so he often disobeys orders that contradict the law from officials. Soon, Rastorguev faces the wrath not only of the police, but also of local business magnates and criminals who want to get rid of the persistent investigator.

Since June 18, 2012, when the premiere episode of the series was shown, the NTV channel has delighted viewers with 2 more seasons, each consisting of 32 or 24 episodes. The number of episodes in the 4th season is not disclosed by the creators.
