Shifr Season 2

Vera Paponova, the creative producer of the TV series "Shifr," revealed that the second season is expected to be shown no earlier than 2020.

"Channel One" plans to show the finale of the 1st season in the second half of 2019. The fascinating drama is a Russian adaptation of the popular British project called "Code of Murder."

The events take place in the mid-20th century. The focus is on several brave GRU employees who work in a special unit. They have a difficult military past behind them. They will help investigators unravel the most mysterious and ambiguous crimes. They are not afraid of difficulties and are ready to work around the clock for the good of their native country. Each of the irresistible beauties possesses a range of useful skills. They are endowed with outstanding intellectual abilities and know how to analyze the available information correctly. Fearless Irina and her brave colleagues risk their own health for the well-being of their fellow countrymen. Sometimes hardworking women sacrifice their personal happiness and communication with their closest relatives in order to track down and apprehend cunning criminals. The charming ladies do everything possible to protect the peaceful population and hold accountable those who have crossed the line of the law.

The images of the key characters are embodied by: Mariana Spivak, the star of feature films "Showdown in Manila" and "No Brakes", Sergey Puskepalis, who appeared in the films "New Year Trees" and "Uncle Sasha", Mikhail Evlanov, noticed in the films "Port" and "Night Watch", and other artists.

The premiere will begin in the middle of 2019. 16 episodes were filmed. The plot revolves around four capable representatives of the fairer sex who perform men's work.
